Gold Coast based Peer Support for late diagnosis,
ADHD, Mood Disorder, Anxiety.

My name is Simon, I am not a doctor. No clinical scripts, no waiting rooms with sensible chairs and light green painted walls. Just support that’s client-focused and client-driven, from the ground up.I’m a Support Worker with lived experience — missed opportunities, self-doubt, catastrophizing, existential dread. I’ve been there.

About Simon

In my 40s I was diagnosed with both ADHD and a mood disorder, two things 20 years of antidepressants never touched. A lot of that misery I now realise, came from navigating a world built for minds not like mine. Without knowing I was neurodivergent, I wouldn’t have been able to start going a little easier on myself, and try different ways to achieve better outcomes. After diagnosis, treatment, and a lot of hard-won stability, I returned to support work following a 20-year break from mental health and supported housing roles in London. Now I draw on my own lived experience to help others, and I’m working toward a Certificate IV in Mental Health Peer Support to formalise that path.
